الفلسطينيون والاحتلال الإسرائيلي: الظلم الكبير والليل الطويل

يعلم الجميع بأنّ أغلب أعضاء حكومة بنيامين نتنياهو من الجهلاء، أو المساجين السابقين، أو مِن اللاهوتيين المعزولين عن الواقع، أو مِن الأشخاص الذين أصابوا حظاً قليلاً مِن الثقافة ومِن التعليم، ولا بأس في ذلك، فهذا حال كثير مِن الوزراء في كثير مِن دول العالم؛ ذلك أنّ ما يأتي بالوزير إلى موقعه -في الأغلب الأعم- اعتبارات جغرافية، وحزبية، وانتماءات مناطقية وقبلية ومذهبية ودينية، لكن المدهش والعجيب في الآن نفسه أنْ يخرج علينا أكاديمي ومؤرخ اسرائيلي مثل الدكتور يوفال نوح هراري ليتحدث عن ضرورة استخدام السلاح النووي إذا كانت هزيمة إسرائيل حتمية، بعد أنّ سبقه إلى حديث كهذا وزير التراث الإسرائيلي.

وإنني لأعجب كل العجب كيف يمكن أنْ يكون الإنسان عالماً ويدلي برأي سخيف وتافه كهذا، ألستَ صاحب كتاب "21 درساً للقرن الواحد والعشرين" يا دكتور هراري؟ ألست صاحب كتاب "العاقل: تاريخ مختصر للجنس البشري"، وهو واحد مِن أهم الكتب في هذا القرن؟ فكيف تكون صاحب "العاقل" وتفقد عقلك ذات مباغتة؟ ولعلمك، لقد اهتم المثقفون العرب بكتابك "العاقل" أكثر مِن غيرهم، بل إنّ شهرة كتابك الذي لا يمكن لعاقل إنكار قيمته العلمية والمعرفية بدأت مِن مثقفين عرب، فترجموه إلى العربية، وروجوا له ونشروه على أوسع نطاق، والآن تريد استخدام السلاح النووي ضدهم؟.

ماذا يمكن لدولة احتلال، وفصل عنصري أنْ تتوقع من شاب يعيش في سجن كبير، يعاني مِن أبشع أشكال التمييز العنصري، فلا أحلام يربيها على وسادته، ولا يمكنه السفر أو التنقل بحرية؟ ماذا كنت تتوقع -يا دكتور هراري- من شاب غزي حرمتموه من بحره، ومن سمائه، وتحكمتم في أرضه؟، ماذا كنت تتوقع من شاب حطمتم آماله وطموحاته أمام عينيه؟.

ماذا كنت تتوقع من شاب فلسطيني منذ ولدته أمه وهو يرى أشلاء أهله ممزقة على أيديكم أمام عينيه، وإذا لم يكن قد أصابه مِن جيشك جرح بليغ تسبب له بعاهة دائمة، فقد أصاب الجرح أخاه، أو أخته أو أمه أو أباه أو صديقه أو جاره أو قريبه؟ ماذا كنت تتوقع منه؟ ماذا كنت تتوقع من الشعب الفلسطيني الذي قبل بمساحة 22% من أرض فلسطين التاريخية، بينما رفضتم أنتم ذلك بشدة؟ ما ذنب إنسان ولد في القرن العشرين أو الحادي والعشرين بادعائكم أنّ هذه الأرض كانت لكم قبل بضعة آلاف من الأعوام، ورغم يقينه بأنّ ما تدعونه محض خيال، ولا يعدو أن يكون خرافات لاهوتية لا عِلم يساندها ولا منطق، رغم كل هذا وافق على أنْ تأخذوا ثلاثة أرباع أرضه، شريطة أن تتركوا له ربعها فقط، فرفضتم؟.

توقعت منك يا دكتور هراري بدل مطالبتك بقصف الشعب الذي احتللتم أرضه بالقنابل النووية أن تصرخ في وجه حكومتك: كفى، كفى، كفى، أقيموا سلاماً حقيقياً، وافتحوا أبواب الأمل، وانثروا الورود على رؤوس الأحلام. توقعت منك أنْ تقول لقومك: كفوا عن عنصريتكم، واتركونا نعيش مع القوم بسلام.

هل وصلنا إلى زمن يُصفق فيه عالِم مثلك يا دكتور هراري لجهلاء من أمثال بن غفير وسموتريتش وإلياهو؟. أتدري، حين قرأت كتابك "العاقل" قلت في نفسي: ها قد دخل الساحة أكاديميون متحمسون، يمزجون بشكل مذهل بين العِلم والخيال، فما غاب عنا مِن حقائق علمية وتاريخية يستعصي علينا اكتشافها بات بإمكاننا تخيلها من خلال معطيات علمية، وحين قام باستقبالك أشخاص مثل بيل غيتس، وباراك أوباما، ومارك زوكربيرغ استبشرت خيراً، وقلت في نفسي: لقد جعل هذا الرجل مِن العلوم الاجتماعية بأهمية العلوم البحتة والطبيعية والهندسية والتكنولوجية والطبية، فها هو يعيد الألق إلى العلوم الاجتماعية بعد أن تراجع دورها، وطغت عليها سائر العلوم الأخرى؛ لذلك أنصحك بالاعتذار عمّا بدر منك ذات جنون، أو هزيمة، أو يأس، ولا تجعل سعرك بسعر جاهل مثل وزير تراثكم إلياهو، الذي هدد باستخدام السلاح النووي ضد أهل غزة.

إنّ أكثر ما يدهش الإنسان هو سؤال المليار، ما الذي تستفيده دولة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي من خلال ارتكباها للمجازر، وتدمير المستشفيات فوق رؤوس المرضى، وتدمير المدارس فوق رؤوس الهاربين إليها، والمحتمين فيها؟ ما الذي يستفيده هذا الاحتلال مِن خلال استعداء العالم، وضرب الروح الإنسانية، ومبادىء حقوق الإنسان في مقتل؟ ما الذي يستفيده هذا الاحتلال مِن قصف سيارات الإسعاف وقتل المسعفين والجرحى؟ هل يعتقد هذا الاحتلال بأنّ القوة يمكن أنْ تصنع سلاماً؟.

ألم تدرك دولة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي للآن بأنّ في الكوكب مِن المشاكل ما يكفي الأرض كلها، بل ويكفي المجرات المجاورة أيضاً، فمن مشاكل تغير المناخ إلى مشاكل تراجع الروح الإنسانية، إلى مشاكل المخدرات والتضخم والإحباط والإدمان، والاتجار بالبشر، والأمن السيبراني، والتطرف بكل أشكاله وألوانه، وغير ذلك من مشاكل العصر التي لا تنتهي. فلماذا لا نجعل من هذه المنطقة منارة عالمية للإبداع القادر على القضاء على الجوع والأوبئة والحروب؟. ألم تدرك دولة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بأنّ اللوبي العربي، واللوبي الفلسطيني على وجه الخصوص بات أكثر قوة من اللوبي الإسرائيلي في الغرب، فلماذا لا يجتمع اللوبيان مِن أجل جلب الاستثمارات والخيرات للمنطقة، بدل أنْ يستجديا حلاً لمشاكلهما المستعصية؟.

والآن، لنسأل: ماذا تحتاج دولة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي لكي تتحول إلى دولة طبيعية مقبولة في المنطقة؟ إنّها تحتاج أولاً، وقبل أي شيء أنْ لا تترك ثأراً، فلماذا تعمل عكس عقارب الساعة، وتصنع تأراً تلو ثأر؟ تحتاج أيضاً إلى أن تبهر الجميع بحجم إنسانيتها، فلماذا تبهر الجميع بحجم جرائمها؟ تحتاج إلى أن تجعل مِن الفلسطيني شريكها وشقيقها، فلماذا تصنع منه عدواً بقوة السلاح؟ تحتاج الى أن تثبت للفلسطيني أنّه لا يمكنه الاستغناء عنها، كما لا يمكنها الاستغناء عنه، فلماذا تجعله يشعر وكأنّه كائن فائض عن الحاجة أو لا لزوم له؟ تحتاج إلى أنْ تكون صديقة للجميع، فلماذا تنصب مِن نفسها عدوة للجميع؟ تحتاج إلى طاقات الشباب في محيطها العربي، فلماذا تجعل من الشباب العرب أعداءها؟. تحتاج إلى سلام شامل وحقيقي ودائم مع الفلسطينيين، فلماذا لا ترى فيهم سوى حالة حرب قائمة أو محتملة؟ تحتاج إلى أنْ تدرك بأنّ الفضاء اليوم أوسع مِن الحيز المكاني، فلماذا تطارد وراء سرقة أرض مِن هنا، وخطف أرض من هناك؟ تحتاج إلى أنْ تنخرط مع العرب في المساهمة في حل مشاكل الكوكب، فلماذا كل عام أو عامين يأتي الكوكب بنفسه ليحل مشاكلها، ويخرجها مِن مآزقها؟.

يجب منح الفلسطينيين أكبر عدد مِن جوائز السلام عرفته البشرية على مدى تاريخها كله، فكل فلسطيني يستحق جائزة للسلام بعد صبر وتضحيات وقتل وتشريد وحصار استمر لعقود وعقود.

على جميع دول الأمم التحرك لحماية الفلسطينيين، والمساهمة في انتقال الشرق الأوسط مِن هذا الشتاء الموحل الطويل إلى ربيع نابض بالحياة، ربيع مغروس في الأرض وليس فقط على سطحها، يجب وضع حد لليل الطويل، وإطفاء الحريق الكبير الذي يلتهم الجميع.

إنّ حركات المقاومة شرعية بموجب كل القوانين والشرائع الدولية، وما مِن شعب -خلال التاريخ البشري- كله قبِل بالبقاء تحت الاحتلال، أمّا الحل فيبدأ مِن إيقاف المذبحة بحق أهل غزة، وإطلاق الاحتلال الإسرائيلي لجميع الأسرى الفلسطينيين مقابل إطلاق الفلسطينيين للأسرى الإسرائيليين، ومحاكمة كل مَن ارتكب مجزرة أو مَن قصف مدرسة أو مستشفى، وتطبيق قرارات مجلس الأمن الدولي ذات الصلة بالقضية الفلسطينية، وإقامة الدولة الفلسطينية على حدود ما قبل عام 1967 وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية.

وكإجراء فوري ومؤقت لتجنب استمرار المجزرة التي يرتكبها جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بحق النساء، والأطفال في غزة، وإلى حين تطبيق الحلول الدائمة، تقترح هذه المقالة ما يلي:

الوقف الفوري للمجازر التي يرتكبها الاحتلال الاسرائيلي بحق سكان قطاع غزة، خاصة تلك التي يرتكبها بحق الأطفال والنساء والمرضى والعجائز، والتوقف الفوري عن هدم المستشفيات والمدارس ودور العبادة.
قوة فصل دولية بين قطاع غزة، ومستوطنات غلاف غزة على غرار قوة الأمم المتحدة المؤقتة في لبنان اليونيفيل UNIFIL- United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon وفي حالة غزة ينبغي أن يكون اسمها يونيفيغ UNIFIG- United Nations Interim Force in Gaza قوة الأمم المتحدة المؤقتة في غزة.
اتفاق قانوني وأخلاقي مؤيد بقرار دولي يضمن عدم اعتداء قوات الاحتلال على المدنيين في قطاع غزة، فليس للمواطن الفلسطيني ذنب إذا مر نفق صنعته المقاومة من تحت بيته أو شارعه، فتلك مقارعة بين المحتل والمقاومين لا ذنب للأطفال والنساء والعجائز فيها.
محاكمة قادة الاحتلال الاسرائيلي في المحاكم الدولية محاكمات نزيهة وشفافة.

نعم، على دولة الاحتلال إسرائيلي أنْ تدرك بأنّ المفرقعات -مهما كانت متطورة وفريدة من نوعها- لا تضمن الأمن للدول، فما يضمن أمن الدول ورفاهها وازدهارها أمور أخرى، يعرفها كل ذي بصر وبصيرة، كما أنّ دولة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي لم تعد قادرة على خداع الرأي العام؛ ذلك أن المواطنين الغربيين صاروا يعرفون - بشكل متزايد- الحقيقة، فلو كان لكل عربي صديق غربي واحد، صداقة واقعية أو افتراضية، لعرف الغرب كله حقيقة ما يجري، وهذا ما حدث ويحدث اليوم، فعلى الرغم مِن تأييد كثير من الساسة الغربيين للاحتلال الاسرائيلي من أجل ضمان مصالحهم الخاصة نجد شعوب العالم، ومنها شعوب الغرب تتعاطف بشكل واضح مع القضية الفلسطينية، وتسعى لرفع الظلم عن الفلسطينيين.

Palestinians and the Israeli Occupation: Great Injustice and Long Night

As many people know, most of the members of Benjamin Netanyahu's government are either uninformed, former prisoners, theologians who are out of touch with reality, or people with limited education. This is not uncommon, as similar situations exist in many governments around the world. In most cases, ministers are appointed based on geographical, partisan, regional, tribal, sectarian, or religious considerations. However, it is astonishing and perplexing that an Israeli academic and historian like Dr. Yuval Noah Harari advocate for the use of nuclear weapons if Israel's defeat were inevitable, especially in light of similar remarks made by the Israeli Heritage Minister

I am baffled that a scholar like Dr. Harari, who has authored works such as "21 Lessons for the 21st Century" and "Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind," which is considered one of the most important books of this century, could hold such a radical and ill-conceived opinion. Dr. Harari, aren't you the author of "Sapiens"? Aren't you the author of "21 Lessons for the 21st Century," one of the most important books of our time? How could you, the creator of "Sapiens," suddenly lose your rationality? For your information, Arab intellectuals have shown more interest in your book "Sapiens" than others, translating it into Arabic, promoting it, and widely distributing it. Yet, you advocate for using nuclear weapons against them? x

What can a state of occupation and apartheid expect from a young man trapped in a large prison, subjected to the worst forms of racial discrimination, with no dreams to hold onto, and no freedom to travel or move freely? What did you expect, Dr. Harari, from a young man from Gaza, whose sea and sky you have taken, and whose land you have controlled? What did you expect from a young man whose hopes and aspirations have been shattered before his eyes? What did you expect from a young Palestinian who has witnessed his family being torn apart by your hands, and even if he was not seriously injured by your army, his brother, sister, mother, father, friend, neighbor, or relative was? What did you expect from him? What did you expect from the Palestinian people, who were willing to accept 22% of historical Palestine, while you vehemently rejected it? What is the fault of a person born in the 20th or 21st century, while you claim this land was your thousands of years ago, even though he knows that your claim is pure fantasy, nothing more than theological myths with no scientific or logical basis? Despite all of this, he agreed that you take three-quarters of his land, on the condition that you leave him only a quarter of it, and you refused? x

Dr. Harari, instead of advocating for the use of nuclear weapons against those whose land you have occupied, I expected you to stand up to your government and declare, "Enough is enough! Let's establish true peace, open the doors of hope, and scatter roses on the heads of dreams." I expected you to tell your people, "Let us abandon our racism and live peacefully with others." x

Have we reached a point where an intellectual like you, Dr. Harari, would endorse the ignorance of figures like Ben Gvir, Smotrich, and Eliyahu? When I read your book "Sapiens," I thought to myself, "Here come enthusiastic academics, seamlessly blending science and imagination, leaving us with a blend of scientific and historical facts that we would otherwise struggle to discover, using scientific data to bring them to life." When respected individuals like Bill Gates, Barack Obama, and Mark Zuckerberg welcomed you, I felt a surge of hope and thought, "This man has elevated the significance of social sciences to the same level as pure, natural, engineering, technological, and medical sciences, reawakening their importance after they had receded into the background, overshadowed by other sciences." Therefore, I urge you to retract your statements, which appeared to be fueled by madness, defeat, or despair, and refuse to allow your reputation to be tarnished by the likes of your Heritage Minister, Eliyahu, who has threatened to use nuclear weapons against the people of Gaza. x

One can't help but wonder: what does the Israeli occupation state gain from committing massacres, destroying hospitals filled with patients, and demolishing schools where those seeking refuge are hiding? What does this occupation achieve by provoking the world, undermining human souls, and disregarding the principles of human rights? What does this occupation gain by targeting ambulances, killing paramedics, and injuring the wounded? Does this occupation truly believe that strength can create peace? x

Hasn't the Israeli occupation state realized by now that the planet is already overburdened with problems, from climate change issues to the decline of the human spirit, to problems related to drugs, inflation, frustration, addiction, human trafficking, cyber security, and extremism in all its forms and colors? Why don't we instead harness the region's potential to become a global beacon of innovation, capable of eradicating hunger, diseases, and wars? x

Hasn't the Israeli occupation state recognized that the Arab lobby, and the Palestinian lobby in particular, have become more powerful than the Israeli lobby in the West? So why don't both lobbies join forces to attract investments and prosperity to the region, instead of seeking solutions to their interminable problems through conflict and violence? x

And now, let's ask: What does the Israeli occupation state need to become a normal and accepted state in the region? First and foremost, it needs to stop seeking revenge. So why does it act counter-clockwise, creating vengeance after vengeance? It also needs to amaze everyone with its humanity. So why does it amaze everyone with the scale of its crimes? It needs to make the Palestinian its partner and brother. So why does it turn the Palestinian into an enemy through the power of weapons? It needs to demonstrate to the Palestinian that he cannot do without her, just as she cannot do without him. So why make him feel superfluous and unnecessary? It needs to be a friend to everyone. So why does it make itself an enemy to everyone? It needs the energies of the youth in its Arab surroundings. So why does it turn the Arab youth into its enemies? It needs comprehensive, genuine, and lasting peace with the Palestinians. So why does it only see them as a state of war, current or potential? It needs to realize that space today is wider than physical territory. So why does it chase after stealing land from here and there? It needs to engage with the Arabs in contributing to solving the planet's problems. So why does the planet come to solve its problems every year or every two years, pulling it out of its predicaments? x

The Palestinians must be awarded the largest number of peace prizes recognized by humanity throughout its entire history. Every Palestinian deserves a peace prize after enduring patience, sacrifices, killings, displacement, and a decades-long siege. x

It is the responsibility of all the world's nations to act to protect the Palestinians and contribute to transitioning the Middle East from this long, bleak winter to a vibrant spring, a spring rooted in the land and not just on its surface. The long night must come to an end, and the raging inferno that engulfs everyone must be extinguished. x

Resistance movements are legitimate, protected under all international laws and regulations. Throughout human history, no people have accepted being subjected to occupation. The solution starts with stopping the massacre of the people of Gaza, the release of all Palestinian prisoners in exchange for the release of Israeli prisoners, the trial of anyone who committed a massacre or attacked schools and hospitals, the implementation of relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions regarding the Palestinian issue, and the establishment of the Palestinian state on the pre-1967 borders with its capital in East Jerusalem. x

As an immediate and temporary measure to avoid the continuation of the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation army against women and children in Gaza, and until permanent solutions can be implemented. x

This article proposes the following

- Immediate cessation of the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation against the residents of the Gaza Strip, especially those targeting children, women, patients, and the elderly. There should also be an immediate halt to the demolition of hospitals, schools, and places of worship

- The deployment of an international peacekeeping force between the Gaza Strip and the Israeli settlements in the Gaza Strip, similar to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). In the case of Gaza, this force could be named the United Nations Interim Force in Gaza (UNIFIG).

- A legally binding agreement backed by an international resolution to ensure that Israeli forces do not attack civilians in the Gaza Strip. Palestinian citizens should not be held responsible if a tunnel made by the resistance passes under their homes or streets. This conflict is between the occupier and the resisters, and innocent children, women, and the elderly should not be involved

- Fair and transparent trials for those responsible for human rights violations in the international courts.

Yes, the Israeli occupying power must realize that explosives, no matter how advanced and unique, do not guarantee the security of nations. The security, well-being, and prosperity of nations depend on other factors, known to anyone with a basic understanding of international affairs

The Israeli occupying power is also no longer capable of deceiving public opinion. Western citizens are becoming increasingly aware of the truth. If every Arab had the opportunity to engage with a Western individual, whether through personal connections or virtual platforms, the West would gain a more comprehensive understanding of the Palestinian cause. x

Despite the support of many Western politicians for the Israeli occupation to safeguard their own interests, we find that people around the world, including Western populations, clearly sympathize with the Palestinian cause and seek to alleviate the injustices suffered by Palestinians. x
